EA Origin Service Enables Fans Of The Famous Strategy Series To Pre-Order Generals 2 Why Wait?

Yes indeed, Generals 2 has been announced, but already you can pre-order it on ORIGIN. Now as a die-hard C&C fan I almost leapt out of my seat at this point, however surely it would be better for me to delay to see what happens and wait for more pre-order content to be offered. Usually close to release date, high street stores offer pre-order codes and pre-order bonuses for pre-ordering. I just checked on the ORIGIN website and there is no offers, no extras and hell, it's still sitting at a pretty heft £39.99 which is expensive!

No doubt websites and retailers will be doing it cheaper, I just figure if maybe they did the game at a discounted price, or gave some more information, the public would be more encouraged to pre-order. I'm still hoping that Generals 2 stays true to the popular franchise and dosent make a mockery of it like the previous Tiberium Twilight. No base building, you're kidding right?

Generals 2 has said to expect a release sometime in 2013. I physically cant wait any longer. With the recent addition to the series being so painful I have had to restore faith in the series by playing Tiberium Wars and the new Tiberium Alliances which is the web-based browser game. Yes it's not quite the same but it's sure as hell keeping my addiction to the C&C series at bay.

Well who knows, as soon as we get some details on what EA plans to offer the public for pre-ordering you will be the first to know. Until then, I'm gonna go play some more Tiberium Wars
