The All New Cronus USB Dongle

Cronus Promises To Allow You To Use Your 360 Controller On Your PS3

There’s nothing quite like a problem you didn’t know you had, now RaptorFire promises to solve the problem that we weren’t even aware of with its new device known as Cronus.

The premise itself is simple, a small USB dongle that fits into any current generation home console and allows you to use the controller from a different console in said console, for example an Xbox 360 controller on the Playstation 3, or even the Wii remote on an Xbox 360.

At this moment we are unaware of how easy the Cronus will be to set up and use, what we do know is that is has 9 different modes, enough for cross compatibility with most home consoles, probably programmed using a desktop PC. Advertised as simply “plug, sync and play” it all seems very cool.

What we don’t know is how useful it will be, the functionality seems somewhat limited. The best reason we could think is, you are visiting a friends house for some multiplayer gaming, however they only have a PS3 and you only have an Xbox controller, Cronus solves your problem. Also, maybe if you want to play some of the latest PS3 games, such as “The Last Of Us” but can’t stand the controller. The possibilities are limited but useful, due for release in the summer 2012 and priced at a reasonable $50-$60, less than a spare controller.

For more information and some demoes of the device in action check out www.cronusdevice.com

When it’s released we’ll hopefully have a full review available
